It’s more than a feeling this knowing inside
So sure and revealing, it won’t be denied
I stand convicted of missing the mark
I know it’s useless to make excuses for the crimes of my heart
I’m guilty, giving up my heart and soul
I’m guilty of letting Jesus take control
He broke the law of sin and death
And I’m so glad I’m guilty
Deceived and discouraged, blinded by sin
Steadfastly refusing to let the Savior in
But now my heart is burning, my spirit overflows
I learned the lesson that I’m confessing and I want everyone to know
That I’m guilty, sticking to that narrow road
I’m guilty of giving up a heavy load
